Job summary

Australian Submarine Agency - AU Government in Canberra is seeking an EL 1 Capability Analyst to conduct complex analytical work and provide expert advice to ASA leadership and Government.

The role requires deep knowledge of legislative frameworks, decision-making processes, and Australia’s strategic environment. You will analyse data across economics, industry and workforce domains to support policy and investment decisions, and coach teams to deliver outcomes.

Qualifications

• EL 1 Capability Analyst handles very complex written and analytical work under broad direction.
• Requires knowledge of legislative frameworks and government decision-making processes.
• Ability to provide expert advice to ASA leadership and Government.
• Experience with stakeholder engagement across ASA, Defence, government and industry.
• Desirable: economics, econometrics, statistics or related quantitative background.
