Job summary

Chart Industries is seeking a site-based EHS professional in Cardiff, NSW, Australia, to support the Integrated Management System (IMS) aligned to ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001. You will deliver field audits, incident investigations, and practical coaching to drive safe, compliant work practices.

Responsibilities include developing IMS framework, conducting site inspections, coordinating with project managers, and supporting internal/external ISO audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields such as OHS or engineering; professional certification is valued.
• ISO 45001 Lead Auditor preferred; ISO 14001 Internal Auditor helpful.
• ICAM Lead Investigator certification beneficial for root-cause analysis.
• Experience in Safety in Design and risk management in hazardous environments.
• Knowledge of environmental risk, waste, emissions, and ISO 14001 incident reporting.
• HRWL and White Card are expected minimums for site access.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the IMS aligned to ISO 45001/14001/9001 for Howden Australia.
• Conduct site audits, inspections and permits; verify PPE use and permit compliance.
• Lead/assist incident investigations (ICAM) and prepare corrective action plans.
• Deliver toolbox talks and targeted safety training; promote Just Culture and LSRs.
• Maintain records, NCRs, JSEAs and safety files; support ISO audits and readiness.
• Collaborate with managers, engineers and supervisors to embed controls.
