Job summary

CSL Behring’s Broadmeadows site is seeking an experienced EHS Specialist to lead and influence Environment, Health, Safety and Sustainability initiatives. The role partners with site stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance, drive continuous improvement and provide expert EHS guidance across designated areas for a safe, sustainable workplace.

The position reports to the Site EHS Director and supports 5-days-a-week on-site operations at Broadmeadows, driving practical EHS programs and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in safety, engineering or science.
8+ years in an EHS role in industrial/manufacturing/construction.
Experience implementing EHS management systems and training.
Knowledge of permit-to-work, LOToTO, confined space, working at heights, contractor management.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and support for CSL's Work Health & Safety duties and ensure compliance with site procedures and EHS legislation.
Develop and deploy allocated EHS programs from strategic plans and EHS Action Plan.
Lead the improvement of allocated EHS systems and processes.
Develop EHS training packages and facilitate EHS education and workshops.
Partner with CSL departments to drive proactive EHS collaboration and issue closure.
Coordinate incident investigations and drive corrective actions to foster continuous improvement.
Provide support to other EHS team members as required.
