CSL Behring seeks an experienced EHS Associate Director to lead site health, safety and sustainability initiatives at Broadmeadows. You will drive risk management, implement EHS programs, and ensure compliance with ISO standards and regulatory requirements.

The role partners with Site Leads to foster a safe, sustainable, and high-performing workplace, delivering strategic EHS plans, training, and continuous improvement across the site.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in safety, engineering, science or related field.
• 10+ years EHS experience in GMP/biological manufacturing or complex industrial settings.
• Experience implementing EHS management systems and delivering training.
• Experience in matrix and self-insured organizations.
• Knowledge of Comcare and WHS regulations.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple departments.
• Experience with permit-to-work, isolation/LOTOTO, confined space, working at heights, contractor management, and process safety.
• Strong organisation, prioritisation and deadline management.
• Proven ability to drive safety and environmental improvements.

• Implements EHS objectives and complies with reporting.
• Develops EHS systems, policies, audits, and programs.
• Ensures compliance with legal requirements and reporting.
• Supports risk management and maintains risk registers.
• Leads CSL Work Health & Safety responsibilities and oversight.
• Drives continuous improvement through stakeholder engagement.
• Manages CAPAs and ensures corrective actions.
• Provides support to EHS team members.
• Oversees governance of high-priority CAPAs.
