Job summary

YMCA Windsor Outside School Hours Care is seeking energetic Educators to join the team on a casual basis. You will supervise children before and after school, assist with Vacation Care activities, and help create a safe, inclusive space that supports wellbeing and confidence through play.

The role offers flexible hours between 6:00am–9:00am and 2:00pm–6:00pm, with potential for professional development and career progression within a not-for-profit community organisation.

Qualifications

• Hold or be studying towards a Cert III or Diploma in Children’s Services, School Age Education and Care or similar.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• A valid Paid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in Before & After School sessions.
• Run or assist with a variety of hands-on activities during Vacation Care.
• Create a welcoming and inclusive space where all children feel safe, supported and inspired to grow.
• Promote children’s wellbeing, confidence, and friendships through play.

About the role

Are you passionate about promoting children’s wellbeing and confidence? We are currently recruiting energetic and caring Educators to join our YMCA Windsor Outside School Hours Care team on a casual basis.

As an Educator, you’ll help create a safe, fun and inclusive environment for primary-aged children before school, after school and during the school holidays. With a mix of structured and spontaneous play-based activities, you’ll be at the heart of children's social learning and creativity.
