Job summary

The Y Queensland is recruiting energetic Educators to join our Virginia Outside School Hours Care team on a casual basis in Queensland. You will help create a safe, fun and inclusive environment for primary-aged children before school, after school and during school holidays.

As an Educator, you'll engage children with a mix of structured and spontaneous play-based activities, supporting their wellbeing, confidence and friendships through play.

Qualifications

• Hold or studying towards a Cert III or Diploma in Children's Services, School Age Education and Care or similar
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• Commitment to creating a safe, inclusive environment for all children

• Supervise and engage children in Before & After School sessions
• Run or assist with Vacation Care activities
• Create a welcoming space where all children feel safe and supported
• Promote wellbeing, confidence, and friendships through play

About the role

Are you passionate about promoting children's wellbeing and confidence? We are currently recruiting energetic and caring Educators to join our YMCA Virginia Outside School Hours Care team on a casual basis.

As an Educator, you'll help create a safe, fun and inclusive environment for primary-aged children before school, after school and during the school holidays. With a mix of structured and spontaneous play-based activities, you'll be at the heart of children's social learning and creativity.

• A valid Paid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
