Job summary

Joey's OSHC Bracken Ridge is seeking enthusiastic casual Educators to join our before, after and vacation care team. Located on school grounds, we care for up to 175 children with engaging facilities and a supportive team.

Responsibilities include nurturing care, creating a safe, welcoming environment, and delivering fun, educational activities with the team. Relevant qualifications and a Queensland Blue Card are preferred.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services or ACECQA approved equivalent.
• Current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
• First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain).
• National Child Safety Training (Course 1–4) welcome but not compulsory.

Join Our Team at Joey's OSHC, Bracken Ridge! We’re looking for enthusiastic and caring casual Educators to join our friendly team at Joey's Outside School Hours Care in Bracken Ridge. Located within the school grounds, our service provides before school, after school, and vacation care for up to 175 children, with access to fantastic facilities that make every day engaging and fun. Job Requirements:

• Hold (or are working towards) a Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services or an ACECQA approved equivalent — desirable but not essential
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
• Hold or being willing to obtain National Child Safety Training - Course 1 & 2, Course 3 & 4 not compulsory but highly regarded
• A passion for the education and care of school-aged children in a play-based environment
• Effective oral and written communication skills within the workplace
