Job summary

Great Beginnings Yanchep is seeking an experienced Diploma qualified Educator to join our friendly team as a Casual Assistant Educator. You’ll be passionate about early childhood education and help provide an outstanding learning environment for children aged 0–5 years.

Qualifications

• ACEQA approved Diploma in Children’s Services is required.
• Understanding of EYLF and NQS.
• Experience with children aged 0–5 years is preferred.
• Strong communication skills in verbal and written form.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• First Aid certificate.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a safe, engaging learning environment for children 0–5 years.
• Deliver developmentally appropriate activities in a preschool setting.
• Collaborate with team to support children's learning and wellbeing.

About Us

Our children enjoy delightful indoor and outdoor play areas, rooms equipped with the latest age-appropriate technology and learning resources, and a range of activities. About You

• You will hold an ACECQA approved Diploma Qualification in Children’s Services
• An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Proven Educator experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A current Working with Children Check
• First Aid certificate
