Job summary

G8 Education Limited is seeking a Casual Assistant Educator at Great Beginnings Epsom in Bendigo, VIC. You will join a fun-loving, supportive team, bringing passion and dedication to create an outstanding learning environment for children.

Hold a Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services, understand EYLF and NQS, and have WWC and First Aid. This casual role offers above-award wages, flexible hours, and opportunities to grow within G8’s network.

Qualifications

• Hold ACECQA approved Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services.
• Understanding of EYLF and NQS.
• Proven experience in early childhood (0–5 years).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• First Aid certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing a safe, engaging learning environment for children.
• Contribute to planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities.

About Us

Our children enjoy delightful indoor and outdoor play areas, rooms equipped with the latest age-appropriate technology and learning resources, and a range of activities.

At capacity our centre caters for up to 92 children with operating hours from 6:30am to 6:30pm.

About You

• Hold a minimum ACECQA approved Certificate III or Diploma Qualification in Children’s Services
• An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Proven sector experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A current Working with Children Check
• First Aid certificate
