Job summary

G8 Education Ltd seeks a Casual Assistant Educator at Community Kids Jimboomba to join our team of qualified Early Childhood professionals. You will support a safe, nurturing learning environment for children ages 0-5 and contribute to daily activities from 6:30am to 6:30pm.

Hold a Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services and a current Working with Children Check, plus First Aid. You will be valued for your dedication, with access to development opportunities across G8’s 400+ centres.

Qualifications

• Hold ACECQA approved Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services.
• Understanding of EYLF and NQS.
• Experience with children 0-5 years in an Early childhood service.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• First Aid certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating a safe, engaging learning environment for children 0–5.
• Support daily routines and learning activities.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality care.

About Us

Our children enjoy delightful indoor and outdoor play areas, rooms equipped with the latest age-appropriate technology and learning resources, and a range of activities.

At capacity our centre caters for up to 100 children with operating hours from 6:30am to 6:30pm.

About You

• Hold a minimum ACECQA approved Certificate III or Diploma Qualification in Children’s Services
• An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Proven sector experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A current Working with Children Check
• First Aid certificate
