Job summary

Community Kids Jimboomba, part of G8 Education, is seeking an experienced Assistant Educator for a part-time role (30 hours per week). You will help create a loving, learning-focused environment for children aged 0-5 and join a supportive team that values growth.

You will hold an ACECQA approved Certificate 3 or Diploma in Children’s Services, understand EYLF and NQS, have WWC and First Aid, and bring proven early childhood experience.

Qualifications

• ACECQA approved Certificate 3 or Diploma in Children’s Services.
• EYLF and NQS understanding.
• Experience with children 0–5 years in an Early Childhood setting.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• First Aid certificate.

Responsibilities

• Foster an outstanding learning environment for children 0–5 years.
• Contribute to indoor/outdoor play and age-appropriate activities.
• Support team goals for child development and learning.

Community Kids Jimboomba is offering an exceptional candidate an Assistant Educator role within our fun-loving, supportive team. You will be a passionate, dedicated professional who strives to build and maintain an outstanding learning environment for our children.

This role is Part-Time working 30 hours per week.

About Us

Our children enjoy delightful indoor and outdoor play areas, rooms equipped with the latest age-appropriate technology and learning resources, and a range of activities.

At capacity our centre caters for up to 100 children with operating hours from 6:30am to 6:30pm.

About You

• You will hold an ACECQA approved Certificate 3 or Diploma Qualification in Children’s Services
• An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Proven Educator experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A current Working with Children Check
• First Aid certificate
