Job summary

Melton Early Learning Centre, part of G8 Education Ltd, is seeking an experienced casual Assistant Educator. You will help create a nurturing learning environment for children aged 0–5 and work with a supportive team committed to excellence.

Hold a ACECQA approved Certificate III or Diploma, understand EYLF/NQS, and bring strong communication skills. A current WWCC and First Aid are required; centre hours align with 6:00am–6:00pm, with Above Award wages and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services (ACECQA approved).
• Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
• Experience in an early childhood service with children aged 0–5 years.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• First Aid certificate.

About Us

Our children enjoy delightful indoor and outdoor play areas, rooms equipped with the latest age-appropriate technology and learning resources, and a range of activities.

At capacity our centre caters for up to 90 children with operating hours from 6:00am to 6:00pm.

About You

• Hold a minimum ACECQA approved Certificate III or Diploma Qualification in Children’s Services
• An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Proven sector experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A current Working with Children Check
• First Aid certificate
