Job summary

Duke Street Children’s Centre, operated by G8 Education Limited, is seeking a Casual Assistant Educator. You will contribute to a nurturing environment, helping deliver engaging early learning activities for children aged 0–5 years.

Applicants should hold ACECQA approved Certificate III or Diploma, have a WWC check, First Aid, and strong communication skills to thrive in a supportive, team‑oriented centre. Flexible scheduling offered.

Qualifications

• Hold a minimum ACECQA approved Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services.
• Understanding of EYLF and NQS.
• Experience with children 0–5 years.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A current Working with Children Check.
• First Aid certificate.

About Us

Our children enjoy delightful indoor and outdoor play areas, rooms equipped with the latest age-appropriate technology and learning resources, and a range of activities.

At capacity our centre caters for up to 65 children with operating hours from 6:30am to 6:30pm.

About You

• Hold a minimum ACECQA approved Certificate III or Diploma Qualification in Children's Services
• An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Proven sector experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A current Working with Children Check
• First Aid certificate
