Job summary

Goodstart Lake Munmorah is seeking an enthusiastic Cert III Educator to join our long‑standing centre. You’ll work with Senior Educators and our Educational Leader to deliver play‑based programs that support curiosity and school readiness.

You will help create safe, inclusive spaces where children build confidence and relationships with peers and families, while engaging with outdoor spaces and community experiences.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
• Current NSW Working with Children Check.
• Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training, completed via Geccko platform.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Senior Educators and Educational Leader to craft and enhance learning programs for children.
• Prioritize safety, inclusivity and a supportive learning environment where every child thrives.
• Build meaningful relationships with children, families and the local community; support play-based learning from Nursery to Preschool.
• Engage in outdoor learning spaces, garden activities and community experiences to enrich development.

Located within the Pacific Lakes Estate, our centre offers a warm, welcoming environment where educators are encouraged to build meaningful relationships with children, families and the wider community.

As a Cert III Educator, you'll be part of an experienced and passionate team that values play-based learning, teamwork and creating engaging experiences that support every child's interests, strengths and development. Our educators work together to build strong foundations for learning from Nursery through to Preschool, with a focus on curiosity, confidence and school readiness.

You'll also have opportunities to get involved in our beautiful outdoor learning spaces, including our vegetable garden and worm farm, as well as community experiences such as local school connections, park visits, emergency services visits and farm excursions.
