Job summary

First Grammar Freshwater Centre is seeking an experienced Certificate III or Diploma qualified Educator to join our supportive team as a Casual Assistant Educator. You will help create an outstanding early learning environment for children aged 0–5.

Our centre operates from 6:30am to 6:30pm and accommodates up to 117 children. We value work-life balance and flexible scheduling to suit your needs, with opportunities to grow within G8 Education’s network of centres.

Qualifications

• Hold ACECQA approved Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services.
• Knowledge of EYLF and NQS.
• Experience in Early childhood service (0–5 years).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid Working with Children Check.
• Current First Aid certificate.

Our children enjoy delightful indoor and outdoor play areas, rooms equipped with the latest age-appropriate technology and learning resources, and a range of activities.

At capacity our centre caters for up to 117children with operating hours from 6:30am to 6:30pm.

About You

• Hold a minimum ACECQA approved Certificate III or Diploma Qualification in Children’s Services
• An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Proven sector experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A current Working with Children Check
• First Aid certificate
