Job summary

Uniting West Bexley Preschool is seeking an enthusiastic Advanced Certificate III Educator to provide high-quality early childhood education during school terms. You’ll support learning outcomes in line with the Early Years Learning Framework and build strong relationships with children and families in a nurturing setting.

The role is part-time, 9am–3pm on Mondays and Tuesdays, with potential to extend to Wednesday–Friday for inclusion support.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education, with previous working with children.
• Be passionate about working with children of all ages.
• Experience in programming, writing learning stories, and planning curriculum using the Early Years Learning Framework.

• Permanent Part time working 9am - 3pm Monday and Tuesday (opportunity to work Wednesday - Friday as inclusion support if interested).

Uniting West Bexley Preschool, operates during school terms and our warm and welcoming service offers stimulating indoor and outdoor environments. Our programs designed to inspire your child’s desire to learn, embracing purposeful play and group activities that encourage their curiosity, confidence, creativity and self-expression.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Certificate III qualified Educators to join the team!

What you’ll be doing in this role

As an Advanced Certificate III Qualified Educator, you’ll provide quality education and care to children to help support and facilitate their learning outcomes in accordance with the National Quality Standards and learning framework!

Your work may include:

• Developing positive relationships that support children, their families and community.
• Facilitating play-based learning environments that are responsive to children’s interest, strengths, and abilities.
• Documenting children’s learning through observations and assessments against learning outcomes

Who we’re looking for

• Must have completeda Certificate III in Early Childhood Education, with previous working with children
• Be passionate about working with children of all ages.
• A work history that demonstrates, programming, writing learning stories and supporting the planning of a successful curriculum using the Early Years Learning Framework (National Standard)
• Have the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, families and community members
• You’ll be adaptable, empathetic and resourceful, and be able to live Uniting’s everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.
