Job summary

The Grove Academy in New South Wales is seeking an Educational Leader on a fixed-term maternity leave contract to inspire and guide educators in delivering high-quality early childhood education. You will lead the Grove Theory curriculum, mentor staff, ensure EYLF and NQS standards, and foster a culture of growth, safety and collaboration across the centre.

Qualifications

• A Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education and Care is required.
• Proven experience mentoring and guiding educators.
• Deep understanding of EYLF, NQS, and curriculum development.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Passion for inspiring learning and innovation.
• Knowledge of child protection responsibilities and mandatory reporting.
• Ability to identify and respond to risks to children’s safety.
• Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation of the curriculum across the centre.
• Mentor and support educators to deliver outstanding practices.
• Guide the team in meeting EYLF and NQS standards.
• Collaborate with educators to create meaningful and inspiring learning experiences.
• Promote a culture of growth, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Prioritise safety, health and wellbeing of all children.
• Actively supervise children and maintain risk awareness.
• Report concerns or incidents in line with service policies.
