Job summary

Early Learning Victoria invites applications for an Educational Leader to oversee daily operations and lead teaching teams at the Nicholson District centre. You will implement key pedagogical priorities, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with the ELV Central team on staffing and enrolments.

With a Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood, you will drive high-quality education, support a diverse community, and contribute to a safe, thriving centre environment in Victoria.

Qualifications

• Pedagogical leadership experience in early childhood education.
• Strong understanding of Education Care Services National Law and Regulations, NQF, Child Safe Standards.
• Experience in financial management and administration for early childhood education and care.
• Ability to lead teaching teams and manage staff.
• Excellent communication with staff, children, families and communities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations at the service with the Centre Director.
• Deliver on organisational and local pedagogical priorities.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
• Support staff recruitment, development and enrolment management with ELV Central team.
• Foster a positive, sustainable workforce culture.
