Job summary

ANZUK Education is seeking an experienced Educational Leader in the Berwick area to lead and elevate practice across an early learning centre. The role involves mentoring teams, overseeing curriculum delivery, and ensuring high-quality educational outcomes in line with EYLF.

You will work with the Centre Leadership Team to support educator development, documentation, and compliant practices, fostering a collaborative and professional learning environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Graduate Diploma, Bachelor, or Master of Early Childhood Education.
• Current Employee Working with Children Check.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Strong organisation and time-management skills.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Support curriculum quality and EYLF alignment across the service.
• Mentor educators and Room Leaders through coaching and professional discussions.
• Oversee documentation, programming cycles, and family communications.
• Promote reflective practice and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with the Centre Leadership Team on daily operations.

Lead, inspire and elevate practice as an Educational Leader—mentor teams, drive EYLF programs and shape high-quality learning in a supportive centre.

I am currently working with a well‑established and growing early learning service in the Berwick area to recruit an experienced and passionate Educational Leader. This opportunity suits a confident pedagogy professional who enjoys mentoring teams and driving high‑quality educational practice within a collaborative leadership structure.

About the Service
The service provides education and care for children from infancy through to preschool age in purpose‑built learning environments. Programs are child‑centred, play‑based, and informed by contemporary early childhood pedagogy, with alignment to the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

The organisation values reflective practice, strong relationships with families, and continuous improvement across all learning programs.

About the Role As the Educational Leader, you will work closely with the Centre Leadership Team to support curriculum quality, educator development, and consistent educational practice across the service.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring educators, overseeing curriculum delivery, and supporting best‑practice documentation and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and guide educators to deliver high‑quality programs aligned with EYLF
• Review and oversee educational programs, documentation, and programming cycles
• Promote reflective practice and continuous improvement across the service
• Mentor Room Leaders and educators through coaching and professional discussions
• Support effective digital documentation and family communication
• Maintain consistent, high‑quality practice across all learning environments
• Communicate with families regarding curriculum and learning outcomes
• Assist with family meetings, inclusive experiences, excursions, and centre events
• Work collaboratively with the Centre Leadership Team to support daily operations and key activities
• Contribute to a positive, professional, and collaborative team culture
