Job summary

Only About Children Hampton is seeking an Educational Leader to guide educational practice across the campus and coach educators in curriculum, reflection and quality learning.

You will support Room Leaders and teachers, champion children's participation, and help embed EYLF and NQF standards while fostering reflective practice and inclusive, child-centred learning.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Early Childhood Teaching or Diploma+ in related field.
• Experience leading a room or team in early childhood.
• Knowledge of EYLF, NQF, Child Safe Standards.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Working with Children Check and clearances

Responsibilities

• Guide educational practice across the campus and coach educators, Room Leaders and teachers in curriculum and reflection.
• Support assessment, planning and documentation cycles to support children's learning.
• Strengthen family engagement and inclusive practices.
• Contribute to QIP, self‑assessment and Assessment and Rating preparation.

About our Hampton campus

At Hampton, my day feels small, homely and close to the Bayside community. I arrive on Bluff Road, near Hampton Street, reserves, buses and local clubs. The campus feels personal, welcoming and calm.

I learn in three indoor rooms and play outside under the big oak tree, in the natural yard, on the bike track, near the vegetable garden and outdoor dining area. I can make friends, try new foods, practise routines and feel safe with familiar grown-ups. This is where my day feels steady, warm and connected.

About the role

I need educators who keep learning with me.

As Educational Leader, you will guide educational practice across the campus and coach educators, Room Leaders and teachers in curriculum, reflection and quality learning.

What you'll bring

• Early Childhood Teaching qualification preferred, or Diploma or higher.
• Experience leading a room or team.
• Understanding of the EYLF, NQF, Child Safe Standards and inclusive practice.
• Understanding of curriculum theory and educational leadership.
• Confidence mentoring educators and leading reflection.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• A Working with Children Check and relevant clearance.
