Job summary

Elizabeth Flexible School (FLEXI) is seeking an Education Support Officer to help deliver curriculum and support learning and social inclusion at the Elizabeth site. The role reports to the Head of Campus and is full-time, term-time with a January 2027 start.

You will work within Edmund Rice Education Australia’s Catholic ethos, supporting students and collaborating with staff to achieve positive outcomes in a trauma-informed learning environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience with disenfranchised youth in an education setting.
• Working with Children Clearance
• Catholic Police Clearance – granted by the Screening & Verification Authority – Catholic Archdiocese of Adelaide.
• A current unrestricted driver’s licence.
• Knowledge of the causes of educational disengagement and barriers young people in the region face in achieving a Year 12 or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective interpersonal relationships with staff at all levels and work as a team member to achieve positive outcomes.
• Work with a wide range of industry stakeholders.
