Job summary

TAFE NSW is seeking an Education Support Officer to assist teachers and engage learners in Conservation & Ecosystem Management courses. The role supports online course delivery and in-person workshops, applying industry knowledge to create a positive learning environment and follow-up instruction as directed by teachers.

Candidates should hold a Certificate III in Conservation & Ecosystem Management (or equivalent) and may also have a Certificate III in Horticulture.

Qualifications

• Hold a Certificate III Conservation and Ecosystem Management or equivalent.
• Desirable: Certificate III Horticulture.
• Strong administrative skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient with information and communication technologies.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers and engage learners in Conservation & Ecosystem Management courses.
• Assist with online course delivery and in-person workshops.
• Supplement teaching activities with follow-up instruction as provided by a teacher.
• Create a positive learning environment for students.
