Job summary

Murrum Primary School is seeking a compassionate Education Support (Behaviour) staff member to join our Wellbeing team, central to supporting students with social, emotional and behavioural needs to engage positively in their learning and school community.

As a Special Inclusion School, this role will be central in supporting students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs to engage positively in their learning and school community.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with complex behaviours.
• Ability to collaborate with teachers and families.
• Knowledge of SWPBS or similar behaviour frameworks.
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support student wellbeing and create a calm, safe learning environment.
• Assist with individual student regulation and engagement plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, allied health professionals and families.
• Provide supervision of students within a classroom setting as required.
• Contribute to data collection and plan review for behaviour support.
• Attend team meetings and support Wellbeing initiatives.
