Donnybrook Primary School in Melbourne's northern suburbs is seeking an Education Support Class member to assist students with additional needs, help maintain safe and positive behaviours, and contribute to an inclusive learning environment.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:45am to 3:15pm, under supervision and direction, with opportunities to collaborate across staff and programs in alignment with school values.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to support learning and engagement of a range of students with additional needs.
• Ability to support student safety and positive behaviour, including understanding functions of behaviour.
• Experience working with neurodiverse children to support their learning and engagement.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• An education support class position supports the educational services being provided to students under supervision and direction.
• Role may include coordination of other education support class staff within the work area or educational program.
