Benalla P-12 College is hiring for an Education Support role within our school community. The position involves coordinating routine student support tasks, assisting teachers, and enabling effective communication with families while adhering to school policies.

The role emphasizes collaboration, adherence to guidelines, and a focus on student wellbeing and learning support under supervision and direction.

Qualificações

• Demonstrated capacity to perform duties per guidelines and frameworks; coordinate and support others.
• Team collaboration across a school environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in a team setting.

• Ability to advise and support management and school staff.

Responsabilidades

• Provide routine support for teachers including planning student routines.
• Support communication between teachers and parents.
• Communicate with teachers on routine matters related to students.
• Provide basic physical care and wellbeing support for students.
• Communicate with students to support understanding of tasks.
• Address behavioural presentations in classroom settings per policy.
• Support coordination of up to 4 students in a classroom context.
• Assist teachers with coordinating educational programs and rostering.
• Provide medical intervention support under specific conditions with training.
• Provide specialist communication support (AUSLAN and braille).
