Job summary

Mansfield Secondary College in rural Victoria is seeking an Education Support class position to assist teachers, support student routines, and help deliver the Victorian curriculum. The role involves working under supervision to provide routine care and learning support within Years 7–12 settings.

Qualifications

• Certification and/or training in education support is preferred.
• Ability to work in a team and follow instructions from teachers.
• Good oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides routine support for teachers including assisting with planning student routines.
• Supports communication between teachers and parents and with students.
• Assists with supervision and welfare needs of students under teacher guidance.
• Performs coordination tasks for education support staff under supervision.
• Supports accessing learning activities and basic student care as required.
