Job summary

Mildura Senior College in Mildura, Victoria is seeking an Education Support Class role (Integration Aide) to assist students with learning and wellbeing under teacher supervision. The position includes coordinating resources and contributing to a positive classroom environment.

The successful candidate will work with teachers, staff and families to support transitions and improve student wellbeing, learning outcomes and engagement.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to assist students with learning and wellbeing within school guidelines.
• Ability to communicate with students, parents and staff clearly and effectively.
• Ability to support teachers and students in routine classroom tasks.
• Experience using Microsoft and Google for data entry and compliance records.
• Preparedness to work within DET time-in-lieu arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Assist students individually or in small groups in learning activities.
• Support communication between students and teachers and assist with resources.
• Prepare resources, equipment and routines for teaching programs.
• Set up and store equipment and materials in classrooms.
• Provide basic health, wellbeing support and supervise small groups.
