Department of Education Victoria is seeking an Education Support Class staff member to contribute to student welfare and learning. Attendance is Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 3.15pm, with tasks performed under school guidelines and supervision.

The role may involve coordinating support staff and assisting teachers within educational programs. The position focuses on assisting with student routines, wellbeing support, and collaboration with teachers and parents, while adhering to school policies

Responsabilidades

• Provides routine support for teachers including assisting with planning of student routines.
• Supports communication between teachers and parents.
• Communicates with teachers on routine matters related to students and/or other responsibilities.
• Provides basic physical care and wellbeing support for students.
• Provides medical intervention support to a student/s under specific conditions.
• Coordinates and supports a team of aides and education support staff under supervision.
