Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provides routine support for teachers, including planning student routines.
• Supports communication between teachers and parents.
• Communicates with teachers on routine matters related to students.
• Provides basic care and wellbeing support for students.
• Supports students to understand tasks and information.
• Addresses immediate behavioural presentations in classroom settings.
• Provides supervision for groups of up to 4 students.
• Assists in coordinating educational programs and rostering.
• Provides medical intervention support under training and guidance.
• Provides special communication support (AUSLAN and braille).
