Job summary

Leigh Place Aged Care is seeking a part-time Education & Quality Officer to lead staff education and quality initiatives at our Roselands facility. You will deliver training, coordinate competency programs, and ensure compliance with industry standards while fostering a supportive learning environment for residents and staff.

The role focuses on continuous improvement, content updates, and regular training sessions, with on-site attendance two days per week.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering education/training to staff, stakeholders or residents.
• Develop and manage an education calendar based on trends and regulatory needs.
• Identify education gaps and support improvement initiatives.
• Undertake regular training, workshops and seminars.

Responsibilities

• Deliver education sessions and in-services to staff, stakeholders and residents.
• Coordinate annual competency training.
• Develop education calendar based on regulatory and feedback trends.
• Monitor regulatory changes and update content accordingly.
• Promote learning opportunities and cross-skilling for staff.
• Support continuous improvement through education gap analysis and trends.
• Conduct regular training workshops and assurance reviews.
• Pursue ongoing self-education to keep training content innovative.
