Job summary

Turn IT on is seeking an ICT Consultant to support a school in Dulwich, ensuring maintenance of IT hardware and services across sites and improving ICT provisions to enable effective teaching and learning.

You will communicate between the school and Turn IT on, manage customer accounts, and provide software support including Office 365. A proactive, customer-focused approach is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience in ICT Technician/2nd line support, preferably in education.
• Strong technical background with IT hardware, software and network knowledge.
• Able to explain technical issues in layman’s terms to customers.
• Self-motivated, team player with strong communication and organisation skills.

Responsibilities

• Resolve and manage technical issues impacting the running of the school’s function with robust technical solutions.
• Install or repair computers with standardised applications and networking software; diagnose and solve problems.
• Respond to technical duties related to network and desktop services, including upgrading installations.
