Job summary

John Monash Science School in Victoria seeks an experienced ICT Manager to lead the JMSS ICT team and ensure ICT services are secure, reliable and aligned with Department of Education priorities.

You will work with the Executive Team, teaching staff, Education Support, students, Monash University and external providers to support teaching, learning and school operations through effective technology delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing ICT systems within complex educational or organisational environments.
• Knowledge of ICT infrastructure, cloud services (Google Workspace, Microsoft) and educational learning systems.
• Ability to identify and manage ICT risks, cyber security, incidents and continuity planning.
• Ability to lead and coordinate an ICT team and manage competing priorities.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills to support teaching, learning and operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an ICT roadmap aligned with the school’s priorities.
• Provide ICT advice to the Executive Team and contribute to planning and investment.
• Oversee secure, reliable ICT infrastructure including Google Workspace, Canvas, Compass and BYOD.
• Coordinate ICT projects and system changes with staff and external providers.
• Ensure timely ICT support and appropriate prioritisation and escalation of issues.
