Job summary

UNSW is seeking a Lecturer in Nutrition & Dietetics within Education Focused roles. This position contributes to the development and delivery of the Nutrition, Dietetics and Food Innovation program, focusing on the clinical stream and work-integrated learning.

The educator will shape student learning, collaborate with colleagues, and bring current clinical knowledge into teaching. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, educational excellence, and supports diverse students toward strong

Qualifications

APD eligibility and willingness to seek APD accreditation.
PhD preferred but significant relevant experience may be considered in lieu of PhD.
Experience with industry and work-integrated learning in clinical education.
Clinical experience in nutrition/dietetics.
Teaching and learning design and delivery at undergrad/postgrad levels.
Experience with educational technologies and online delivery.
Proven teaching effectiveness and commitment to educational excellence.
Knowledge of industry/work-integrated learning is desirable.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to support diverse students.

Responsibilities

Deliver and develop education in Nutrition, Dietetics and Food Innovation with a clinical focus.
Contribute to curriculum development and student success across programs.
Collaborate with colleagues across the discipline and disciplines.
Incorporate current clinical and industry knowledge into classroom practice.
Support work-integrated learning content and placement programs.
