Job summary

GWG Recruitment is seeking an experienced Business Manager for a well-established education organisation in Grafton, NSW. You will oversee finance, operations, administration, assets, risk, compliance and support functions, acting as a key business partner to senior leadership.

The role has a strong financial focus with budgeting, reporting, variance analysis and financial planning, plus responsibility for procurement, capital works, governance and WHS.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business or similar.
• Strong financial and commercial capability with experience managing budgets and operations.
• Leadership experience and the ability to manage and develop support staff.
• CPA/CA accreditation is highly regarded, especially with education-sector experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the organisation’s finance, business operations, administration, assets, risk, compliance and support functions.
• Lead and develop non-teaching support staff.
• Act as a key business partner to senior leadership.
• Oversee annual budgeting, financial reporting, variance analysis, expenditure oversight and financial planning.
• Procurement, capital works, projects, governance and WHS responsibilities.
