Job summary

Independent Schools NSW is seeking an Education Consultant for Teaching & Learning to design, develop and deliver a two-year fixed-term professional learning initiative focused on High Impact Teaching. The role supports K-12 schools with curriculum, pedagogy, and instructional coaching across NSW and ACT.

Applicants should have 6+ years in K-12 settings, strong advisory skills and a passion for pedagogy. Travel across NSW is required; NSW Driver’s Licence is expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s qualifications will be viewed favourably.
• Experience in teaching/leadership across K-6 and/or 7-12 settings (6+ years).
• Ability to respond to school requests and provide curriculum and pedagogy guidance.
• Strong advisory and consultancy capabilities with evidence of building professional relationships.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver professional learning for High Impact Teaching initiatives.
• Provide guidance on interpreting and implementing NSW K–12 syllabus.
• Develop curriculum resources, frameworks and tools for schools.
