Job summary

Edge Protection Australia is seeking a reliable and hardworking Casual Edge Protection Labourer to join our team, with consistent Monday–Friday work. This hands-on role requires physical fitness, a strong commitment to safety, reliability and the ability to learn new processes quickly. Confidence working on roofs and at heights is essential.

Applicants must be comfortable moving around on roofs as part of daily duties. Training will be provided to the right person.

Qualifications

• Must have the physical ability to perform manual labour including lifting, climbing and working at heights.
• Reliability and punctuality are essential.
• Prior edge protection experience is valued but not required; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Meet the team at Everton Hills work shed each morning.
• Load trucks with equipment and materials for the day.
• Travel with the team from the shed to residential and commercial sites.
• Assist with installing edge protection.
• Work safely and confidently on roofs and at heights.
• Occasional use of a scissor lift.
• Return with the team to the Everton Hills shed at day’s end.

This is a hands‑on role requiring physical fitness, a strong commitment to safety, reliability and the ability to learn new processes quickly.

Confidence working on roofs and at heights is essential for this position. Applicants must be comfortable moving around on roofs and working at heights as part of their day‑to‑day duties.

Experience in edge protection is highly regarded but not required, as training will be provided to the right person.

About the role

• Meet the team at our Everton Hills work shed each morning
• Load trucks with the equipment and materials required for the day's jobs
• Travel with the team from the shed to various residential and commercial sites
• Assist with installing edge protection
• Work safely and confidently on roofs and at heights
• Occasional use of a scissor lift
• Return with the team to the Everton Hills shed at the end of the day

What we're looking for

• Must be able to get to and from our work shed in Everton Hills each day.
• Physical fitness and capability to perform manual labour, including lifting, climbing, and working at heights
• Reliability and punctuality
• Prior experience in edge protection is highly valued but not essential
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills and techniques
• Truck license is a big plus, but not essential
