Job summary

Jansens Contracting PTY LTD in the Ipswich/Brisbane area is seeking a hard-working construction labourer to start immediately on a casual basis with full-time hours. You will unload/load trucks, move gear on and off site, and install/dismantle safety products after training.

The role requires experience in construction labouring, a Construction White Card, a current non-restricted driver's licence with own transport to the Carole Park yard, and a willingness to work at heights.

Qualifications

• Experience in the construction industry (labouring).
• Construction White Card.
• Current valid non-restricted driver’s licence and own transport to the Carole Park yard.
• Willingness to work at heights and in labour-intensive roles.
• Available to work 5 days per week, 40–50 hours, starting at 5:00am.

Responsibilities

Job description

Hard working construction labourer with a good attitude required to start immediately on a casual basis with full time hours in the Ipswich/Brisbane area.

We are looking for someone who wants to work hard with a good team. You will be working for a private contractor, who works alongside a larger and well known safety installation company, installing Edge protection on residential homes.

Experience in the construction industry (labouring)

Construction White Card

Current valid- Non restricted drivers licence and own transport to and from the yard based in Carole Park is required and not negotiable. MR truck Licence would be an advantage and would see your pay at higher rates.

Working comfortably at heights is required and MUST be fit and enthusiastic as you will be working in a labour intensive role.

Available to work 5 days per week Monday to Friday, 40 to 50 hours per week starting at 5.00am.

About this role:

Your role will be unloading and loading trucks, moving required gear on and off site. Installing and dismantling safety products after physical and online training is completed. Submitting required SWMS and completing reports. You must be willing to learn all aspects of your role. Growth within our company is available.

What we offer you:

Weekly pay, above award rates + superannuation. Salary will also be available to the right person after probation and commitment is shown. We also offer Christmas holiday pay when you are working on a casual rate.

On site and online training

Uniform and PPE will be provided however you must have your own steel cap boats.
