You will deliver advanced clinical care, mentor the team, and drive quality improvements while maintaining patient-centred care. The role emphasises collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and adherence to standards and policies.

Qualifications

• Hold current AHPRA nursing registration and bring advanced assessment, critical thinking and care coordination skills to support patients with complex needs. A relevant postgraduate qualification is expected, or a commitment to complete one within an agreed timeframe.
• Inspire and support fellow nurses, lead by example and bring confidence, integrity and a strong commitment to high-quality, person-centred care.
• Build strong relationships with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams, using excellent communication, collaboration and conflict-resolution skills to keep everyone working towards the best outcomes.
• Confidently assess, plan, deliver and evaluate complex nursing care while balancing competing priorities and keeping patients at the heart of every decision.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the front by delivering high-level nursing care to patients with complex needs.
• Improve patient outcomes and ensure care meets professional standards, policies and best practice.
• Mentor and educate fellow nurses, building clinical confidence and promoting ongoing development.
