Job summary

John Fawkner Private Hospital, part of Healthscope Hospitals, seeks an Associate Nurse Unit Manager to lead the Emergency Department team in Melbourne’s northwest. You will provide clinical leadership, coordinate evidence-based nursing care and manage resources in a busy ED.

Ideal candidates hold ANUM level or equivalent, ED triage experience, post-graduate qualification in Emergency or Critical Care, and current AHPRA registration.

Qualifications

• ANUM level or equivalent ED experience.
• Emergency Department triage experience.
• Post graduate certificate in Emergency or Critical Care.
• AHPRA registration.
• Working with Children check.
• Compliance with ACSQHC National standards.

Responsibilities

• providing clinical leadership to the Emergency Department to compliment the strategic direction, operational processes and quality management of all patients.
• providing clinical operational direction for the unit to ensure efficient and effective management by coordinating the delivery of evidence-based nursing care.
• accountability for the effective daily management of human, financial and material resources.
