Job summary

John Fawkner Private Hospital, part of Healthscope, seeks an Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join its Emergency Department in Melbourne. This permanent part-time role offers a rotating roster including night duty and a supportive team focused on delivering high-quality patient care.

You will provide clinical leadership, coordinate delivery of evidence-based nursing care, manage resources, and drive improvements in patient safety.

Qualifications

• Australian work rights.
• ANUM level or equivalent experience.
• Emergency department experience with triage.
• Postgraduate Certificate in Emergency or Critical Care.
• Current registration with AHPRA.
• Working with Children check.
• Compliance with ACSQHC National standards.
• Commitment to management and leadership development.

• Proven time management and prioritisation skills.
• Labour management knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Providing clinical leadership to the Emergency Department to support strategy and quality management.
