Job summary

Maher St Cottage Child Care Centre in Hurstville, NSW, is seeking a Bachelor-qualified ECT to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis. We value development, positive relationships, and high-quality care in line with EYLF and NQF.

Qualifications

• Bachelor trained in Early Childhood Education with prior experience in a similar role.
• WWCC or Teaching Accreditation
• Current First-Aid Certificate, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
• Fully Covid Vaccinated and willing to take booster.
• Excellent knowledge and experience of EYLF and NQF
• Competent in all areas of Child Care compliance, legislation, and WH&S
• High level of professionalism and communication with families and co-workers
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high quality care.

Responsibilities

• Communicate positively and openly with children on an ongoing basis
• Create stimulating, positive and appropriate environment to foster and support development
• Conduct observation and evaluation of children's development
• Provide physical care, assisting children in daily routines and meal times
• Respond to the emotional needs of the children
• Maintain up to date records for each child within the group
