Job summary

Rosehill College in Ultimo, Sydney, invites an experienced Early Childhood Education and Care Trainer and Assessor (Contractor) to join as a field-based educator. You will deliver engaging workshops, conduct workplace visits, and provide coaching and industry guidance to students across Sydney.

The role requires a Diploma or higher in ECEC, TAE40122 or equivalent, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel to childcare sites. On-site work in Ultimo with flexible scheduling is offered.

Qualifications

• Requires Diploma level or higher in ECEC and TAE40122 or equivalent.
• Experience delivering and assessing CHC30121/CHC50121 in RTOs.
• Strong communication, facilitation and student-support skills.
• Current Working with Children Check or ability to obtain.
• Willingness to travel for workplace visits and work on-site in Ultimo.
• Familiar with student management systems (aXcelerate).

Responsibilities

• Deliver face-to-face workshops and tutorials.
• Conduct workplace visits to support and assess students.
• Provide coaching, mentoring and current industry guidance.
• Assess learner competency and maintain training records.
• Participate in moderation and validation activities.
• Build strong relationships with students and childcare services.
• Travel to childcare workplaces across Sydney.
