CARE Veterinary Hospital in Melbourne is seeking an experienced ECC Veterinary Manager to lead the emergency and critical care team. The role combines frontline clinical duties with department administration and staff development.

You will partner with the Head of ECC to maintain high standards of patient care, optimise operations, and support a collaborative, rewarding workplace. Flexible hours and a 50/50 clinical/administrative balance are available.

Qualifications

• Veterinary degree registrable in Victoria.
• Proven history of leading a team of veterinarians in a senior capacity.
• Competence with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Commitment to being a team player and contributing to a positive workplace.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage the ECC department alongside the Head of ECC.
• Develop and support team members, roster and leave management, client liaison and clinical work.
• Maintain high standards of ECC/ICU care and workflow in a supportive environment.
• Foster a collaborative, growth‑oriented team culture.
