Job summary

Centre for Animal Referral & Emergency (CARE) is a large 24hr multidisciplinary hospital in Collingwood on the fringe of Melbourne's CBD. We seek an experienced ECC Vet who thrives on a busy shift and is passionate about providing the best patient care.

You will work with a supportive team led by Dr. Christine Lovatt and benefit from education opportunities, ongoing training, shadow shifts, and excellent case exposure across emergency and specialty services.

Qualifications

• Experience in an emergency veterinary setting is desirable
• Passion for delivering compassionate, high‑quality care
• Strong communication and teamwork within a multidisciplinary hospital
• Interest in routine and emergency surgery is a plus
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development

Responsibilities

• Treat primary accession and referred cases to the ECC department, with shared care of hospitalised patients and ICU involvement.
