Job summary

Smart Energy is seeking an analytical EBITDA Improvement Analyst to join our Head Office team in Byron Bay or Sydney. You will drive profitability through financial modelling, data analysis and cross‑functional collaboration, supporting initiatives across pricing, revenue, and cost optimization.

This role offers exposure to strategic projects and senior leadership insights. You’ll build dashboards, monitor KPIs, and develop business cases that translate data into actionable commercial decisions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field and strong numerical skills.
• Experience in finance, commercial analysis, FP&A or pricing is advantageous.
• Proficiency with Excel and data-driven decision making is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform EBITDA analysis to identify drivers and opportunities.
• Support cost reduction and margin improvement initiatives.
• Analyse revenue growth, pricing, product and channel mix.
• Track progress of EBITDA projects with timelines, budgets and ROI.
• Develop KPIs and dashboards for performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Sales, Procurement and HR.
