Job summary

Lug+Carrie is seeking two eBike mechanics for a summer fixed term contract in Sydney. You will split your time between building and servicing eBikes at our Alexandria workshop and delivering bikes across Sydney in our van.

The role challenges you to diagnose faults with Bosch systems, train customers on safe riding, and maintain a tidy workshop while meeting daily goals. A current Australian driver's license is essential, with 1–2 years' mechanic experience.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' experience as a bicycle mechanic.
• eBike experience is a bonus; Bosch system training provided.
• Current full Australian driver's licence is essential.

Lug+Carrie is putting more eBikes on Sydney streets, and we need two mechanics to help us through our summer peak. It's not your typical workshop job: you'll split your time between building and servicing bikes in Alexandria and delivering them to customers around Sydney in our van.

What you'll do

• Build, service and refurbish eBikes to a high standard and on time
• Diagnose faults, run Bosch diagnostic reports and log work in our systems
• Deliver bikes to customers and show them how to ride and maintain them safely
• Help customers choose the right bike and accessories
• Keep the workshop tidy and hit your daily goals

What you'll bring

• 1-2 years' experience as a bicycle mechanic (eBike experience is a bonus, and we'll train you on Bosch systems)
• Current full Australian driver's licence (essential)
• Good communication skills and a customer-friendly approach
• Availability for a rotating roster that includes Saturdays
• Comfort with basic computer systems
