Gladstone Ports Corporation Ltd is seeking an experienced Earthworks Supervisor to lead civil construction, earthworks, quarrying, and marine infrastructure projects in the Terminal Operations team. You will supervise multi-disciplinary crews, plan resources, and ensure work aligns with plans and safety standards.

The role demands strong interpretation of drawings, risk management, and a proactive safety leadership approach.

Competenze

• Minimum 2 years' experience supervising civil construction, earthworks, quarrying or mining operations.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret engineering drawings, plans and relevant standards.
• Competencies recognised by WHSQ and Mining Safety & Health Advisory Committee: RIIRI301D, RIWHS301D, RIICOM301D.

• Supervise daily civil construction, earthworks, quarrying and infrastructure activities to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with plans and specifications.
• Lead daily pre-start meetings and implement effective risk controls.
• Plan and allocate labour, plant, and equipment to maximise productivity.
• Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with construction plans and specifications.
• Maintain accurate project, inspection, maintenance, and operational records.
• Foster a positive team culture focused on safety, performance, and accountability.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.
• Collaborate with engineering, technical and operational stakeholders to support project delivery and compliance with standards and approvals.
