Job summary

Godley Community Primary Academy, part of The Enquire Learning Trust, is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 3 for Early Years. The role supports the Nursery provision, collaborates with teachers, and fosters a nurturing environment where every child thrives.

The post is permanent, 30 hours per week during term-time, with a 38.8-week year. Salary is NJC SCP 7-12, and there are ample CPD opportunities within the Trust.

Qualifications

• Is qualified at Level 3 with a qualification specialising in Early Years.
• Has experience of working with Early Years children.
• Is an optimist and is committed to working in a team environment.
• Can use their initiative and steps in to assist where needed, anticipates challenges and takes proactive steps to resolve them.
• Is willing to undertake First Aid Training
• Is caring, compassionate and dedicated to making a difference
• Is highly organised and has a positive attitude towards their role

Responsibilities

• Support the learning, development and wellbeing of our youngest children.
• Work closely with teachers and other professionals, helping to create a nurturing, stimulating and inclusive environment.
• Support high-quality learning through play, promote children's independence and curiosity, and contribute to the delivery of an engaging Early Years curriculum.
