Job summary

Department for Education, South Australia seeks an experienced Early Years Leader at John Hartley Birth to 6 School to guide the holistic operation of the Children’s Centre. You will report to the Principal and be a vital member of the Senior Leadership team, shaping decisions across the school and its community.

You will lead budget processes, support non-teaching staff, and collaborate with the Governing Council and service providers to advance positive learning outcomes and school-wide

• Strong financial management and business analysis skills.

• Demonstrated ability to lead and support a team of non-teaching staff.
• Understanding of the education sector and its challenges.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic leadership of the Children’s Centre and report to the Principal.
• Be a key member of the Senior Leadership team with decision-making responsibilities across the school.
• Collaborate with the Governing Council and sub-committees, including Finance.
• Oversee budget management across the school and support non-teaching staff.
• Develop and maintain links with the John Hartley community and service providers.
