Job summary

Ability WA Careers is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver evidence-based therapy, manage a flexible caseload and work with a multidisciplinary team across hub and community settings in Western Australia. The role emphasises person-centred care for people with disabilities and opportunities to mentor newer clinicians.

Full-time or part-time permanent positions are available with hybrid work options and travel to community sites.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
• AHPRA registration.
• Proficient with Early Childhood Intervention.
• Driver’s Licence & ability to travel for community visits.
• NDIS Worker Screening, Working with Children, National Police Clearance, First Aid checks.
• Right to Work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based therapy to people living with disability.
• Manage your caseload with flexibility to shape your day.
• Empower customers through a person-centred approach.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary therapy team using the key worker model.
• Provide therapy across hub and community settings.
• Work closely with families, schools, hospitals, and other support networks.
• Champion continuous improvement, reflective practice and quality outcomes.
• Mentor and support less experienced clinicians, contributing to a positive team culture.
